Gary Taraski is the former Senior Leader of the Power and Signal Distribution Systems at General Motors. In this position he led the Wiring Global Sub System Leadership Team (GSSLT) which is comprised of the wiring related technical experts, Wiring Subcomponent Teams, Electrical Architects, Electrical Bracket Team as well as a Software Team that develops and improves tools used to design wiring harnesses and related components. 

Gary has over 35 years of wiring related experience 29 of which were at General Motors and 6 at Chryslers Acustar subcomponent division.  His experiences include releasing Wire Harness and related components, Electrical Architect and Vehicle Systems Engineer, BOM Family Owner, GSSLT Lead and Wiring team manager.

Some of Taraski’s major accomplishments include mentoring Engineers and Buyers, creating and staffing the Connector Team, growing the Wiring GSSLT, defining the requirements that reduced wiring warranty by greater than 80% while also reducing cost. Gary holds 9 patents and was the recipient of GM’s BOM Leadership and Boss Kettering Awards.
