Jared holds two decades of progressive engineering and leadership experience across a variety of industries. Currently, Jared operates as the Electrical Wiring Component Application Partnership (EWCAP) Manager at USCAR (United States Council for Automotive Research), developing specifications used for component design and validation, as well as guiding research activities across a spectrum of areas within automotive electrical systems. Previously, he served as Director of Engineering – Electrical, Controls, and Integration at Remora, a venture capital-backed carbon capture startup in Wixom, MI, where he led engineering, project management, and organizational development efforts. Prior to that, he spent over a decade at Aptiv (formerly Delphi) in Troy, MI, advancing from Design Release Engineer to Engineering Manager, where he led teams of up to 20 engineers supporting automotive electrical distribution systems for major vehicle programs. He also holds earlier experience in electrical controls engineering at Tru Tech Systems and The Paslin Company. Jared earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI, and was a member of the Eta Kappa Nu Electrical and Computer Engineering Honor Society.
