Khara Pratt
Technical Specialist for Automotive Electrical Connection Systems
General Motors

I have been working in the automotive connector industry for 25 years. I started at Yazaki North America in the Connector Applications group, supporting Chrysler. In 2010 I was hired into General Motors as one of the founding members of the connector team. As a release engineer, I supported many types of connectors including squib connectors for airbags and unsealed and sealed connection systems for low voltage applications. I helped develop strategy for high-speed data connectors for in-vehicle communication. In 2024, I accepted the role as the Connector Technical Specialist and am currently responsible for the developing the strategy and technical requirements for all electrical connectors for General Motors.
