Dr. Rajkiran Tiwari is an R&D Manager at YTC America Inc. (YTCA) based in Camarillo, CA. He holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering with over 15 years of experience in polymers and composites used in automobiles, RFID applications, and membranes. He has authored numerous publications and holds patents. His primary R&D focus at YTCA involves designing and developing sustainable materials for automotive applications. His recent research projects involve the development of polypropylene (PP) reinforced with bamboo, achieving a significantly lower carbon footprint of up to 50% less compared to traditional PP/talc composite. Dr. Tiwari specializes in designing sustainable formulations from concept to application, leading complex R&D initiatives, and fostering strategic partnerships.
