Doug Neely is currently a Director of R&D engineering at Yazaki North America, Inc, where engineering innovation focuses on low voltage & high voltage power electronics and connectivity components that support advanced vehicle electrification and in-vehicle data networks.   Located at the campus of the Yazaki North American regional headquarters in Canton, Michigan, Doug  manages engineering teams in advanced manufacturing engineering, robotics, and connection technology.  His highest priority is to driving the design & manufacture of EDS products into more highly automated production.

With 31 years of experience in the automotive EDS industry, he has served in various engineering & management roles including: EDS Design, Component Applications, Business Process Development, Manufacturing Engineering, and Manufacturing Technology development. 

Doug holds a Bachelor’s degree of Industrial & Operation Engineering from the University of Michigan, and resides with his family in South Lyon, MI.
